Opposit operates opposit.ai, a trading dashboard and analytics platform for traders and crypto enthusiasts.

What Data We Collect

Information from Sign-In (Google or Discord)

When you sign in with Google or Discord, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your name/username
• Your profile picture (if you have one)

That's it. We only request basic profile information. We don't access your Gmail, Google Drive, Discord servers, or any other services beyond what's needed to identify you.

Usage Data

We collect basic information about how you use opposit.ai:

• Pages you visit
• Features you use
• Technical information (browser type, device type, IP address)
• Timestamps of your activity

Trading Data

Any trading data, watchlists, notes, or preferences you create within the platform are stored to provide you the service.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

1. Authenticate you — Verify your identity when you log in
2. Provide the service — Display your personalized dashboard, analytics, and saved preferences
3. Improve the platform — Understand which features are useful and which aren't
4. Communicate with you — Send important updates about the service (we won't spam you)

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to anyone
• Use your data for advertising
• Share your email with third parties for marketing
• Train AI models on your private trading data

Third Parties

Google

We use Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in with Google, you're also agreeing to Google's Privacy Policy. We only receive the basic profile information mentioned above.

Discord

We use Discord as an alternative sign-in option. When you sign in with Discord, you're also agreeing to Discord's Privacy Policy. We only receive basic profile information (username, email, avatar).

Supabase

We use Supabase for our backend infrastructure (authentication and database). Supabase is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and processes data according to their Privacy Policy. Your data is stored on Supabase's secure servers.

These are the only third parties that handle your data. We don't use analytics trackers, ad networks, or other third-party services that would access your information.

Data Retention

• Active accounts: We keep your data as long as your account is active
• Deleted accounts: When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days
• Legal requirements: We may retain some data longer if required by law (like for tax or legal purposes)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — Request a copy of what we have
• Correct your data — Update your profile information
• Delete your data — Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data — Get a copy of your trading data in a portable format
• Object to processing — Tell us to stop processing your data (though this means we can't provide you the service)

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• All connections use HTTPS encryption
• Supabase provides enterprise-grade security for data storage
• We don't store your Google password (that stays with Google)
• Access to data is restricted to necessary systems only

That said, no system is 100% secure. If we discover a data breach, we'll notify affected users promptly.

International Users

Opposit is a global platform. Your data may be processed and stored in different countries, including but not limited to the United States (where Supabase's servers are located). By using opposit.ai, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this privacy policy, we'll notify you via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Minor updates (like contact info changes) won't trigger a notification.

Children's Privacy

Opposit.ai is not intended for users under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you're a parent and believe your child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
